James F. Maguire

James F. Maguire, age 79, formerly of Germantown. Born on December 21, 1941 to the late James and Thelma (Clayton) Maguire. Survived by his sister Arlene (Maguire) Bennis, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Miriam Poli (Maguire). Jim was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Most of his career was spent working for the Philadelphia Fairmount Park Commission. He was a lover of nature and spent many hours walking and bird watching in Tyler State Park. Jim will be sadly missed by all who knew him! Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday July 27, 2021 from 9-9:45AM at St. Genevieve Church 1225 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA 19031. A Mass will be celebrated at 10AM. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held privately at a later date.
