Ruth Fanning

Ruth E. Fanning (nee Brown) R.N. of Wyndmoor, died Oct. 4, 2017, at Chestnut Hill Hospital. She was married to the late Thomas. She was the mother of Daniel and Kathleen Fanning and  Patricia Fanning Atkinson ( Ralph). Grandmother of Elizabeth Bryant Fanning and Great-grandmother of Carter Edward Snyder. Ruth was very proud of being in the nursing profession. She graduated from Einstein Nursing School. Ruth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, 801 E. Willow Grove Ave., Wyndmoor, PA 19038. Ruth served  her community for many years as a first responder with the Springfield Ambulance Association.   Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday 9-11AM followed by her Funeral Service at 11AM at the John F. Murray Funeral Home 1220 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA 19031. Burial Northwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior  Project, P.O.
