Ronald A. Judd, a larger-than-life figure whose kindness and dedication touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on September 15, 1964, Ron built a legacy of love and service in both his personal and professional life, which will be cherished by all who knew him.
For over 40 years, Ron served with honor as an Executive Aide for a private family, whose support has been unwavering. In this role, Ron demonstrated steadfast loyalty and commitment. He was not just devoted to his work; he extended this devotion to his friends and family, always ensuring that everyone felt loved and cared for.
Ron’s personality was a blend of thoughtfulness, wit, and a healthy dose of sarcasm, particularly evident in his playful banter with his beloved sister. He had fierce loyalty and persistence that defined him, making him a cherished confidant and friend. His pursuit of joy was evident in his many interests, including a deep passion for cooking, which he generously shared with his loved ones. Ron’s greatest childhood memories stemmed from spending summers on his grandfather's and Uncle Ray's dairy farm, a time that ignited his love for life and the simple pleasures it offers.
Ron cherished his time with his wife, Sue Ellen Judd (Mossbarger), doing the simple things, especially their adventures to Maine. As a young man, Ron enjoyed the thrill of sprint car racing, working with the pit team and attending events at Williams Grove. As an athlete at heart, Ron was a fervent supporter of Philadelphia sports and Ohio State football. Ron often found himself surrounded by family and friends while celebrating his favorite teams.
His pride and joy is his daughter Tory Brash (Judd), (husband Mike), along with his grandsons, Asher James and Parker. The love Ron had for them was immense, and he found great delight in playing and creating lasting memories with them. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Margaret Knowles, Caroline Morris, and Matthew Morris, extending his warmth to all corners of his blended family.
Ron is also survived by his siblings: sister Ellen Faulkner (Judd) and her husband Randy, sister Martha Westenberger (Judd) and her husband Michael, brother Keith Judd and his wife Cindy. He leaves behind his brother-in-law, Michael Mossbarger (Loraine), and his esteemed in-laws, Chuck and Mary Ellen Mossbarger and numerous nieces and nephews. While Ron nurtured strong bonds with his living family, he will also be fondly remembered for the love he had for those he has lost, including his parents, Margaret Judd (Fray), and Frederic Judd, along with his sister, Leslie Judd.
The visitation to honor Ron’s life will take place on February 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1220 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA. During this time, family and friends will gather to share stories, celebrate his remarkable spirit, and find comfort in the love he so freely gave.
As we remember Ronald Arling Judd, let us embrace his legacy of kindness, his devotion to family, and the joyful memories he created. His impact on the lives of those he loved will remain forever etched in our hearts.
