Rita S. Giaccio

Rita S. Giaccio passed away peacefully at 92 years of age, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and many friends who loved her dearly.

Rita enjoyed a long career. She was a buyer of women's clothing for Wanamaker Department Store in center city Philadelphia. After retiring, Rita began a second career with Hershey Company as a sales merchandiser.

Rita had a special place in her heart for her dogs, Jingle and Kringle, who brought her great happiness and companionship. She truly was a devoted dog mom and treasured the love they shared. Rita was also known for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She never forgot a friend's birthday or special occasion.

Rita was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Anthony and Mary Giaccio. Her warmth and kindness will remain in the hearts she leaves behind. May she rest in God's care.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 10AM at St. Genevieve Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA 19031.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 9-10AM at the church.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
