Raised in Toledo, Pat attended both high school and nursing school in her hometown. Her early devotion to care giving led her into a lifelong career as a Registered Nurse. Guided by empathy and a strong sense of purpose, she later expanded her vocation by becoming a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC), training at the Caron Foundation. Her work in addiction recovery touched countless lives and remained a central part of her mission until the end of her life.
Pat’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her brother Al (Sandy) and sister-in-law Karen; her daughter Mimi (Troy); her sons Jim (Sue), Mike (Maureen), and Rick (Judy), daughter-in-law Robin; and her grandchildren: Amy (Derek), Nichole (Mike), Lauren, Allison (Tom), Ryan (Sarah), Rory (Heather), Meghan, Bridgett, Emily, Jane (James), Ellie, Macy, Tyler, and Raegan. Her great-grandchildren—Lucy, Derek, Finn, Maisie, Darby, Quinn, Murphy, and Olivia—will carry forward the memory of the remarkable woman who came before them.
She was preceded in death by her husband George R., her son Jeffrey, her parents Al and Nellie Brady, and her brothers John, Joe, and Bill.
Throughout her journey from Toledo to Flourtown, Pat remained a steadfast source of strength for those around her. Whether through nursing or counseling within recovery communities or offering quiet wisdom to those closest to her heart, she gave generously of herself with grace, gratitude, and humility.
