Julia Sullivan Wrigley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Born on July 31, 1956, in Philadelphia, Julie’s life was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family and a quiet strength that touched all who knew her.
Growing up in Wyndmoor, Julie was the beloved daughter of the late Jeremiah Sullivan Jr. and Patricia (Meehan) Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jeremiah Sullivan III. She is survived by her loving sister, Susan Melrath; her brothers, Tom and Brian Sullivan; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
In marriage, Julie found a steadfast companion in her husband of 48 years, James. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and support, and together they built a home that radiated warmth and kindness. Among her many blessings, Julie considered being a mother her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Kallos and Betsy Gallagher, both of whom carry forward her gentle wisdom and generosity of spirit.
Julie warmly welcomed her sons-in-law, Arpad Kallos and Dan Gallagher, into her family. One of her greatest joys was being "Nana" to her beloved grandchildren, Declan and Rowan Gallagher, who brought her endless happiness.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Julie’s memory at Holy Martyrs Church, located at 120 Allison Rd, Oreland, PA 19075. Visitation will be held on July 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. on the same day.
Julie’s life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family. She will forever be in our hearts.
