John J. Roat

John J. Roat, on April 17, 2021 at his home in Philadelphia. Son of the late George and Florence Roat. Beloved husband of 55 years to Barbara A. Roat (nee Cavanaugh). Devoted father to Christopher (Jean) and Maureen (Jonathan). Proud grandfather of Lily and Justin (Alexis). He is also survived by his sister, Mary Burns, and nephews Brian (Anne) and Kevin (Cindy). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 23rd at 10 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Road, Huntington Valley, PA 19006. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at 9 a.m. at the Church. Interment at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, 160 E. Erie Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
