John H. McGoldrick

John H. McGoldrick, 81, of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully at his home on March 12, 2026.

A dedicated husband, father, and man of deep devotion, John was a well-loved, pillar of strength within the community. A lifelong Catholic and member of Saint Genevieve Parish, John lived his life guided by unwavering faith, always meeting life's challenges with calm resolve and selfless service to his family, his parish, and friends.

A proud alum of Villanova, John loved rooting for Villanova’s basketball team along with all of the Philadelphia sports teams. One of his favorite trips each year was visiting Clearwater, Florida for Phillies Spring Training. More locally, Ocean City, New Jersey was his happy place on warm sunny days. He looked forward to trips to the beach every year to soak up some sun and enjoy fresh seafood by the water.

John would do anything to help those he loved; he was truly selfless: a kind gentle soul with a sharp mind for business and a thirst for knowledge.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Susan, and children MaryJo and Peter, and his sister Miriam. He was predeceased by his eldest son Tim, whom he now rejoins in God's kingdom. May their souls rest in eternal peace.

Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Genevieve Church in Flourtown on Tuesday, March 17 at 10am. Family and friends are invited to a visitation in the church from 9am-10am before the mass. Interment will be private.
