George R. Chatburn

George R. Chatburn Sr, 71, of Albrightville, passed away suddenly on April 23, 2023.  Beloved by so many, he is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marlaine (nee Pessiki), his children George Jr., Anthony (Joy), Kimberly; his grandchildren Gabrielle, Niles, Helena, Logan, Iris, Ian; great grandsons Cedric Jr., and Xavier; brother Harry, sister Anna Mae and many nieces and nephews.  

George loved spending time with his family and his dear friends.  He also enjoyed a good cigar, a well-crafted bourbon and cutting up a dance floor.  

Friends and family are invited to celebrate George's life on Saturday May 6, 2023 at the Chapel at Ivy Hill Cemetery 1201 Easton Rd Philadelphia, PA 19150.  Visitatiion will begin at 10AM and his Memorial Service will follow at 11AM.
