Edward "Wayne" Furlong

   Edward “Wayne” Furlong was called home to be with his angels above on October 17, 2017.  Wayne is survived by his loving wife Linda (McGinley) Furlong, Daughters Linda Doyle (Daniel), Lisa Doyle (Patrick), Samantha Gordon (James), and son Andrew Furlong (Maria) Brother Jay Furlong, grandchildren Collin Doyle, Bryan Doyle, Danielle Doyle, Domenico Furlong, Marcello Furlong, Gary Gordon, Nicole Gordon, Extended grandchildren Kayla Bowers, Jonathan Allen, Aidan Ludovici, Michael Cannon & Christine Cannon. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11am at St. Miriam Church 654 Bethlehem Pike Flourtown, PA 19031.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 9-11:00AM at the church.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jefferson Hospice 255 Newtown Road, Warminster Pa 18974 or Oreland Fire Company 1500 Bruce Road Oreland, Pa 19075.    There are many ways to describe Wayne and his silly antics. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. But, most of all, he was a fun, loving man who loved to joke around. We never knew what was he was going to say, or do, next. When you look at things that comprise the makeup of a good man, you begin to use words and phrases like “family-oriented, dependable, faithful, fatherly, honest, passionate, humorous, intelligent, and rock solid”.  Wayne was a great man, dad, husband, grandpop, and friend.
