Dorothy Barber

Dorothy Barber, (nee Dunigan), passed away on October 6, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born to the late James P and Anne E Dunigan. Dorothy graduated from Little Flower High School and with the exception of a brief hiatus to raise her 5 children she worked as an Administrative Assistant until she was 80 years old. She married the late Raymond A Barber in 1947. Dorothy is survived by four of her children: Lynn Gehr, Joan Hill, Ann Kerrick and Kathy Bowers. She is also survived by quite a few grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Raymond in 1989 and her only son Raymond J. Barber in 1996. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6555 Tabor Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 or to Serenity Hospice, Two Greenwood Square, 3331 Street Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, in Dorothy’s memory would be appreciated.
