Beth Stingel

February 3, 1958 — February 4, 2026

Elizabeth Anne Stingel, 68, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed on into her good Lord's care on February 4th, 2026. Born February 3, 1958 at St. Mary's Hospital in Philadelphia, our immeasurably sweet and generous Beth was the 4th and youngest child of John and Dolores Stingel. Both are predeceased along with her oldest sibling and brother Kenneth Stingel. Beth is survived by two loving and dedicated sisters Susan Argeros and Joanne Dunch, and her nieces and nephews Christopher Stingel, Meredith Lewis, Christina Armstrong, Gerad Argeros, Father Matthew Dunch and  Jonathan Dunch along with many beloved cousins and close family friends.

Beth attended St. Veronica's Catholic elementary school and Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, graduating in 1976. After a decades long struggle with schizoaffective disorder our beloved Beth has found the peace she has always deserved. While her journey was complicated, Beth's limitless kindness, creative spirit and disarming humor will remain the hallmarks of a life lived with boundless faith and quiet courage. Beth was a selfless gift giver and prodigious art maker. She shared countless drawings, paintings, crafts and collage with everyone from former Philadelphia Mayor Bill Green to Pope John Paul II.   Over the years during the Christmas season Beth made the most charming pine cone wreaths that remain cherished by family, friends, and loved ones.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 14, 2026, St. Genevieve's Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown PA, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
