Alice V. Flynn

Alice V. Flynn, (nee Barry), age 95. Joined the love of her life, her beloved husband, the late Lawrence A. (Larry) Flynn on April 29; daughter of the late Daniel J. and Alice (Meenagh) Barry; sister of the late Mary, Daniel (Eleanor), Margaret (Thomas) Walsh, Catherine, Anna (George) McNally. Loving and devoted Mother of Daniel B. (Elaine), Kevin P. (Marita), Aileen (Chris) Ryan, Maureen (Chris) Morell. Survived by Sister in Law Patricia (Flynn) Fyfe and Cousins of Anna May Thompson, Canada, Mary White , Barney Colgan and Kathleen McElhone, Tyrone, N. Ireland. Alice loved the company of her adoring 18 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren. Many loving and devoted nieces, nephews and cousins. Graduate of West Catholic H.S. for Girls. Formerly of Our Mother of Sorrows, St. Benedict’s, St. Joseph’s and St. Genevieve’s parishes; and a regular Novena attendee at the Miraculous Medal Shrine; employee of Bell Telephone and Strawbridge and Clothier. Enjoyed vacations in Ocean City and being with friends at. Shanahan Club and Lawncrest Pool. Visitation Saturday May 6 9:15 followed by Funeral Mass 11 AM at St.Genevieve’s Church, Flourtown, PA Internment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
