John J. "Jack" Rooney, on November 13, 2016, of Ardsley. Beloved husband of the late Theresa C. (nee Marron). Loving father of John (Kathy), Nancy (Dave Anderson), Theresa (John Nash), Joe (Beth), Tom (Alison), Liz, and Mary (Chris Hoffman). Grandfather of 20, great grandfather of 6. Brother of the late Joseph and Gene Rooney. He was the much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Employed for over 40 years at the Phila Electric Company and taught Business, Marketing and Management at LaSalle Univ and Phila Community College. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday November 23rd at 10:30AM at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave., Ardsley, PA 19038. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 9:30-10:30AM at the church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cem. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Queen of Peace Church at the above address.
