John G. Remmey Jr.

JOHN G. REMMEY JR. "JACK", on July 2, 2016. He was the husband of 43 years to Barbara Remmey. Father of John G. Remmey III(Peg), Mark H. Remmey (Pam). He is also survived by his grandchildren. John G. Remmey IV (Missy), Nicole L. Murray (Dennis), Wayne T. Remmey (Kelly), Melissa Remmey, Carolyn Remmey and Mark Remmey Jr.; step-grand-children, Charley Schute, Meredith Avery, Ashley Schute and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Frank W. Remmey. He is predeceased by his brother William W. Remmey. Jack Graduated Penn Charter and attended Duke University for 2 years and Northwestern University Naval Program as an Officer for 2 years. He worked for Abbott's Darie's in advertising and for Astra Zeneca Biopharmaceutical where he retired. He served in the Navy, enjoyed deep sea fishing, tennis, home gardening and all Phila. sports teams. He was a member of the Elmer NJ Presbyterian Church, where served as an Elder, a dedicated member of the Masonic Order, and served as Master of his lodge and Grand Chaplin of the Grand Lodge. A private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
